The Romanesque octagonal bell tower, inspired by the Auvergne style, is supposed to evoke a compass rose. It was deposited and rebuilt at the end of the XNUMXth century. The church was rebuilt in the middle of the XNUMXth century and its ground floor under a horn dome, comprising two superimposed caps, is unique in Gironde.
Inside the building, to the south, is the tumular inscription of Pierre de Tauriac, pastor and benefactor of the church, who died in 1485.
The furniture includes two XNUMXth century wooden statues, preserved in the sacristy.
The bell tower of the church is classified as a Historic Monument.
