The Château Tour des Termes owes its name to an old tower located on a plot called "les Termes" dating from the Gallo-Roman era. It is the story of an old Médoc family which little by little, over the generations, built up this estate. Winegrowers since 1678 in Vertheuil then from generation to generation in Saint-Estèphe, the estate grew until 1938 when Pierre ANNEY acquired the Château Tour des Termes with its old tower as well as a very beautiful farmhouse in Saint -Corbian. In 1979, his son Jean, his grandson Christophe and his great-granddaughter Aurélie perpetuated the family tradition. Great efforts in plot selection and significant investments have been undertaken and today make Château Tour des Termes one of the best Crus Bourgeois of the appellation by becoming in 2020, Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.
