2th Grand Cru Classé in Pauillac
It was in the 1850th century that Jacques de Pichon, Baron de Longueville, began to establish the Pichon Longueville vineyard. At the beginning, the two Pichons made a single large property. When Baron Joseph de Pichon-Longueville died in 1933, the estate was divided between his two living children, Raoul and Virginie. Pichon-Longueville Baron remained in the heritage of the Pichon-Longueville family until 1987, when it was sold to the Bouteillier family. After half a century in the hands of the Bouteilliers, Pichon-Longueville was bought in XNUMX by AXA Millésimes.

Wines produced: Château Pichon Baron (Grand Cru Classé), Les Tourelles de Longueville (second wine of Château Pichon Baron), Les Griffons de Pichon Baron, Château Pibran, Château Tour-Pibran (second wine of Château Pibran).
