North of the small village of Saint-Lambert, Château Fonbadet occupies a choice terroir, located between the greatest vintages of the Pauillac appellation which are Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Latour, Château Lynch-Bages, Châteaux Pichon Longueville Baron and Comtesse .
It was at the end of the Ancien Régime (1789) that the archives show a vineyard in Fonbadet.
The Peyronie family, current owner, can invoke very old winegrower roots since they were already present on the Pauillac terroir in 1700.
