Who is affected by the classification of furnished accommodation?

The furnished tourist accommodation are furnished villas, apartments or studios, for the exclusive use of the tenant, offered for rent to a passing clientele who makes a stay characterized by a rental by the day, week or month, and who do not take up residence there.

What is a “Reference Bed and Breakfast”?

For guest rooms, there is no classification set up by the State in France, unlike other types of tourist accommodation.
The objective of Chambre d'hôtes reference® is to provide non-labeled guest rooms with the possibility of guaranteeing the quality of their service to their customers. Chambre d'hôtes Référence® does not have a dedicated website, marketing plan, general public communication, sectorial and legal watch, etc. If this is the service you are looking for, we advise you to turn to national collective marks which will be able to meet your expectations.

The classification of hotels, campsites, tourist residences

This classification is voluntary and accommodation checks are carried out by accredited control bodies, on the basis of the classification criteria approved by decree.
To keep the benefit of the stars, accommodation is now assessed every 5 years.

Brands

Adhering to a label is essential for the tourist tenant, but also for the owner who has every interest in displaying this quality approach, thus enhancing his accommodation by reassuring his client.
