After having belonged to the family of the Marquis d'AUX for two centuries, Talbot has benefited from the good care of the CORDIER family since 1918. The vineyard covers 110 hectares with a large majority of red (105 ha) and a confidential area of white (5ha). Its wine embodies the ideal of Saint-Julien, generously bouquet, very stable with aging. Its new contemporary cellars present an original and spectacular architectural work.
We offer several tasting tour packages. You will find the description of each of them on our website.

History and architecture

During your visit, immerse yourself in the history of Château Talbot.
As its Anglo-Saxon sounding name suggests, Talbot is related to the Constable John Talbot, Governor of Guyenne in the 1453th century (Connetable means "Crown Officer of England"). John Talbot was a high-ranking English lord, a general in the king's army, and was defeated at the Battle of Castillon in XNUMX, after which the English withdrew from Aquitaine and eventually France which ended the war a hundred years old.
