Château Loudenne is the famous “Château Rose” of the Médoc, renowned in the 20s for its social celebrations and the many personalities who came to stay there.
Located on the edge of the Gironde estuary, Château Loudenne is one of the most endearing sites in the Médoc, whose notoriety has been established for 400 years.
The Château, dating from the XNUMXth century, has a XNUMXth century Victorian cellar located in a large park with a breathtaking view of the Gironde Estuary, a collection of old and rare English roses. History and architecture

During the visit, discover the history of Château Loudenne and that of its owners, the brothers Walter and Alfred Guilbey.
You will also be able to see the estate's new gravity cellar and its many modern facilities, in a purely Victorian style, designed by Ernest Minvielle, famous in the Bordeaux vineyards for his contributions to wine architecture.
