Château Livran, with its 740 years of history.
Founded in 1280, the castle was built over the centuries to become a beautiful building surrounded by vineyards, woods and springs, one of which feeds a charming fishpond. Acquired in 2013 by Edwige and Olivier Michon, the property turns a new page with facilities at the cutting edge of technical innovation designed for the comfort of the team as well as for that of the wine in a spirit of preservation of an exceptional natural environment.

Environmental approach

Château Livran is committed to respecting and preserving the environment through the implementation of biodynamic principles since 2016, without however wanting to enter into a labeling process.
In addition, the buildings are designed to be as energy efficient as possible thanks to reinforced natural insulation and the use of Canadian wells and an effluent treatment technique by ultra-ecological composting is used.

History and architecture

During your visit, come and discover this remarkable estate, built more than 750 years ago, both in terms of its history and its architecture through the discovery of its old farmhouse and its chapel.
Many episodes link it to the Great History, but it is also the little stories and legends that give it all its charm!
