The establishment of the farm dates back to 1861, in the middle of the Second Empire. At that time the transport of charcoal was carried out by teams of oxen.

It is with the money of these "carts" that our ancestor slowly bought the first plots of vines in the town of Saint-Estèphe and built the castle currently appearing on the label.

The vines of Château Beau-Site Haut-Vignoble extend over an area of 19 hectares.
The particularity of the vineyard is that having been acquired over the generations, it is divided into more than twenty plots scattered throughout the town of Saint-Estèphe, making it very representative of the appellation.
