Start date
Church square, rue du Bourg in Gaillan.

Entrance to the Marais
Take rue du Bourg and walk along the church to the cemetery road. Turn right to go down towards the marsh. You pass in front of the Gaillan-en-Médoc cemetery until you reach the entrance to the marsh.

Place says Merle
At the entrance to the marsh, turn left and continue straight to a place called Merle. At the end of the path, turn right.

The Pointon Bridge
Follow the channel to the white pass which delimits three towns: Gaillan, Civrac and Lesparre. Turn right on the white pass then continue straight until the pointon bridge.

The North Point
When you reach the bridge, turn right and walk along the Hervault channel which is on your left, until you reach the wastewater treatment plant. When you get to the wastewater treatment plant, turn right.

End of the course
return to the Gaillan cemetery. At the departure intersection, turn left to reach the Saint-Pierre church.
