The church was built at the end of the 1950th century on the site of the previous Romanesque building, by the architect Bonnore de Lesparre, who made most of the churches built at the time in the canton. This building, dedicated to Saint Romain, is largely financed by donations from the villagers. Near the bell tower and the restored entrance porch, the town's central square retains the porch of the old presbytery, contemporary with the church, converted since XNUMX.
