Dolmen of Barbehère

The megalithic monument is located on a wooded plot at a place called Barbehère. The dolmen was erected about 5000 years ago, in the Neolithic or Polished Stone Age. Built on a limestone base, the monument appears like a dolmen surrounded by a tumulus. The plan shows a burial chamber and an access area. The dolmen constituted an important collective burial place.
